Disney Announced New Release Dates For Black Widow, Cruella and Pixar’s Luca

Disney has announced to change the release dates of its upcoming movies, where some like Black Widow and other Marvel movies are pushed months back for a better distribution strategy. Under this, the Cruella and Black Widow will be launching in May and July, respectively, via premiers and later on the Disney+ platform. Also, Pixar’s Luca will go directly into the Disney+.

Disney Movies New Launch Dates

Disney has announced new dates for their upcoming movies under the flexible distribution strategy as follows. The all-new Black Widow standalone movie is set for July 9th in cinemas and will be coming to Disney+ with Premier Access three months after July 9th, i.e., on October 8th.

Releasing under the Marvel banner and talks about Black Widow’s history and her family. May this is pushed to let fans enjoy the current Marvel shows like The Falcon and Winter Soldier and Wanda Vision. On the other hand, Disney’s Cruella will be releasing in cinemas on May 28¬†and be released in Disney+ with Premier Access three months after it.

It’s the same Cruella story from the 101 Dalmatians, portraying her origin. Further, Pixar’s next animated movie, Luca, will be launched in cinemas on June 18th, directly on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar. Also, Pixar’s Luca will premier in areas where the Disney or Hotstar services aren’t available.

It should be noted that Disney+ with Premier is a separate subscription pack costing $30. And as Black Widow is pushed back to two months, Marvel’s next movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is moved from July 16 to September 3.
